Porto Vromi beach is located north of Zakynthos. It is covered by white sand and has crystal clear waters. It is surrounded by large rocks that give the feeling of seclusion. Boats and pedaloes can be rented from the beach or boarded by boats from the beach to the Blue Caves and the shipwreck. The waters are not shallow and therefore require attention with children. There is a small canteen where you can find essentials like water, soft drinks and snacks. Getting down to Porto Vromi will take you a long time but the road is asphalt and in very good condition. Going down the narrow downhill you will have the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque bay of Porto Vromi from above. The scenery is magnificent with the sea penetrating the cove surrounded by rocks. Tip: There are TWO Porto Vromi... Both of them are at the same bay, but the way to reach there are totally different. So if you have booked a tour or a boat rental make sure that you will drive at the right Porto Vromi. One is called "Porto Vromi Maries" and the other one "Porto Vromi Anafonitria".
